Last week, we went to Malta to the first Meeting of our new KA2 Strategic Partnership Project “AEF Juventud: Apoyo Joven por una Europa más fuerte, nos unimos contra la violencia de género” (“Youth support for a stronger Europe, joining together against gender violence”). During these days, we had all the meetings with the partners and it was really successful. On the last day, we closed the meeting with the communication and dissemination plan with deadlines, the structure and content of the reports and we received the mobility certificates.
Six boys of Estonia are doing work placements in charpenteriers, ten students from Beligum are working in tourism companies in the city centre of Madrid in segways, four students from the same school are in automation and mechanical companies…
We are really happy with all this visits to our city and we are looking forward to receive more students during the next months!
Next April, we’ve got a great event! United We Stand, European Youth for Tolerance (UNIYOUTH) is a youth exchange project organized by MAD for Europe to give young people the opportunity to develop an issue about the interests and real needs of all, despite of their origin, Tolerance as personal development and knowledge of diversity, to different people by race, religion, culture or sexual orientation, to break the barriers between humans, especially in this era of change.

During these days, a group from Romania is visiting Industrial Automotion companies in Madrid. They are going to be with us for two weeks.
They have visited different companies like Grupo Gemidi, specialized in electrical panels and industrial automation, APIEM, a professional association of businessmen of electrical installations or a vocational school in Madrid, IES Virgen de la Paloma. During this days, a group of six students and two teachers from Cyprus are having proffesional visits in Madrid. In their countries, they are studing hostelery and here they are learning our techniques and culture tips.
They have already participated in cooking classes with our chef Sheila, where they have learned how to cook typical Spanish dishes such as paella, black pudding or tapas with Serrano ham.
During this month, we’ve realized our MAMEC Course “Madres Autónomas: Medidas y Estrategias para Conciliar vida familiar y laboral” (Autonomous Mothers: Measures and Strategies for balancing family and work) in Madrid.
The participants have been ten mothers who wanted to undertake their own business while they are at home taking care of their children.
PROFESSIONAL VISITS IN VET SYSTEMS IN MADRID
Last week, we had a very cheerful group from Torino, Italy. Actually, they are teachers of VET system schools in Torino and they wanted to know and visit some Spanish schools to know about our culture and style of the education in Spain.
They visited different companies: Fundación Juan XXIII Roncalli, Escuela de Hostelería y Turismo, Instituto Santa Engracia, la Escuela de Arte 3, CEPA and Centro Regional de Información y Documentación Juvenil.

Erasmus KA2 strategic partnership (HU01-KA202-023042), seeking the better ways for the integration of disabled people into the labor market. This Erasmus + project aims to promote the employment of people with disadvantaged situations, reduced capacity, social problems and disability, in an international cooperation between the 5 countries involved (Hungary, Cyprus, Spain, Czech Republic and Estonia). It also intends to provide career start advice on how to integrate the world of work.
M.A.D.R.I.D. Juventud Europea en Movimiento. In this project, carried out in Madrid, participated 36 young people from 6 different countries: Spain, Italy, Romania, Macedonia, Portugal, Hungary and Slovakia with ages between 18 and 28 years.

Successful Youth Exchange in Madrid with MAD for Europe “El Arte, Herramienta del Futuro” (Arts, Tools of the Future) is a project organized by MAD for Europe with a lot of activities are fully creative, where Art is the protagonist of each, all are focused on different aspects of working life, helping young people to overcome possible obstacles and fears that may arise in their future jobs.
