the European Observatory on Transformative Female Leadership

MAD for Europe actively collaborates with the European Observatory on Transformative Female Leadershippromoted by Horizon Malaga S.L. a transnational initiative that brings together research, practice and policy to rethink leadership models across Europe. This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to advancing gender equality not only through participation, but through the transformation of the structures and cultures that shape decision-making.

Within this framework, MAD for Europe contributes to the Observatory’s mission of promoting leadership approaches that are more inclusive, ethical and responsive to today’s societal challenges. By engaging in dialogue, co-creation processes and joint initiatives, the organisation supports the development of new models of leadership that move beyond traditional hierarchical paradigms and foster collaboration, diversity and social responsibility.

This partnership also strengthens MAD for Europe’s capacity to connect project implementation with broader European debates on governance and gender equality. Through the Observatory, the organisation is part of a wider ecosystem involving researchers, institutions, civil society actors and practitioners working at the forefront of leadership innovation. This enables a continuous exchange of knowledge and practices, as well as the co-design of solutions that are both context-sensitive and scalable at European level.

Particular attention is given to the role of women as agents of systemic change, including in areas such as social innovation, digital transformation and community development. The collaboration also contributes to addressing intersectional challenges, such as those faced by women with migrant backgrounds, by promoting more inclusive approaches to skills, participation and leadership opportunities.
